Member performs duties of a responsible nature related to the operation of Pinellas Safe Harbor shelter for the homeless and inmates reentering the community from jail. Members work directly with Safe Harbor residents. Work is performed in accordance with Sheriff’s Office rules, regulations, and policies and procedures and are expected to work independently.
Shift work is required to include weekends, holidays and overnights.
This position is located at the Pinellas Safe Harbor Shelter.
Qualifications:
High School Graduation or equivalent diploma from an institution accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (DOE) or licensed as a degree granting institution by the Commission for Independent Education
Two (2) years’ stable work history
Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license
Consideration for this position requires a credit check
