Position Summary


Responsible for coordinating and integrating the operational and administrative components of Concentra's and a National Employer's occupational health programs in accordance with mutually agreed upon policies, procedures, and practices, to achieve optimal clinical and financial outcomes. Furthermore, will assist, when able, with other aspects of National Employer's workers' compensation program as requested; such as, processes, workflows, customer service, and quality improvement.

Remote position with occassional trips to the client's locations nationally. Schedule M-F 8a-5p with flexibility

Responsibilities
  • Assist in overseeing and advising clinical, operational and administrative activities of the Concentra and National Employer occupational health program.
  • Drive consistency across all Concentra/National Employer Onsites and Medical Centers by endorsing mutual understanding and use of Concentra's medical model and using the data and tools available from both Concentra and National Employer. This person will work with Concentra's centers providing strong communication channels to achieve consistency and outcomes that are representative of Best-in-Class care. Work directly with National Employer's Workers' Compensation team and Concentra's resources to develop processes, reporting and training for new and existing fulfillment centers that promotes seamless care for National Employer's injured workers.
  • Identify best practices for Case Reviews and implementing adoption of these practices in all markets conducting case reviews.
  • Work with National Employer's other partners including third-party administrators, payers and other experts and partners as needed.
  • Work with Concentra's medical and clinical analytics resources to provide reporting, insights, and feedback to the National Employer team and to Concentra's clinicians to ensure the best clinical outcomes.
  • Work with National Employer's team, assisting in identification of opportunities to improve ergonomics and reduce injury rates. Where appropriate, utilize Concentra's ergonomic and therapy resources to recommend workplace changes.
  • Work with National Employer's WC team to refine their existing RTW program.
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating those activities within National Employer's Occupational Health program that will intersect with Concentra's and provide consultation and direction regarding the clinical care model.
  • Work directly with appropriate Concentra medical and therapy resources to identify and resolve specific problems, issues, or constraints (either operational or clinical) that could be barriers to achieving National Employer's and Concentra's goals.
  • Provide guidance and direction to both National Employer Onsite clinics (managed by Concentra) and Concentra Medical Centers in the areas of case management, goal setting and implementation.
  • Other duties as requested or required by National Employer and Concentra.
Qualifications
  • Active state nursing license as registered nurse.
  • Bachelor's degree and certification in occupational health nursing or case management preferred
  • Basic understanding of federal and state regulations applicable to occupational and environmental health and safety
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of practical experience in occupational health, preferably in a manufacturing environment, distribution facility, or any equivalent or relevant combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
